I need a new shaft for the needle wheel pump used on the 125.  What type of pump is it so I can get the correct part?

Thanks, Tal

I would contact Central Aquatics (Coralife) directly...they should be able to get the part for you.  I think they use their own brand pumps.

I contacted them, not much help.  I was told that I had to buy the entire impeller assembly to get the ceramic shaft, from an online retailer... cost $25+ shipping... an entire new pump= $50... Got a replacement ceramic shaft made by another company at my LFS for under $10.

Bummer they weren't able to help, but I am glad you got something that would work.

I recall one time I broke the impeller shaft on my Mag Drive pump (totally my fault).  I called/emailed Danner and said I broke the shaft.  They sent me two new ones FREE!!!!  One of the reasons I use and recommend the Mag pumps, great customer service.

I dropped the ceramic shaft and it broke. I called Central Aquatics told them I broke it and they sent me a new one free of charge. My CSS has a Rio pump on it.
