Hi maxalmon,

Welcome to the Marine Depot Forums.

Now you can't tease us with those pictures without telling us information about both your camera and your tank.

I would love to see a full tank shot (FTS) as well.

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks Keith...

I've been a reefer for about 25years, I've had just about every type of tank you could imagine.

I just upgraded to a Nikon D700, most of the time I use a Nikon 105mm VR EX ED Macro, also have a Sigma f2.8 24-70 EX DG and Sigma f2.8 70-200 EX DG

I decided to get out of the hobby about a year ago and sold off most everything, had a massive fraggin operation with lots of acans and micros....Now I'm back into the hobby, go figure on selling everything off and then comming back... I did keep my 215 starphire and will work on posting images as we start the install, righ now I have a 40g thats pretty crammed....Some of the images are from fellow reefers tanks.

I've been playing around with this coral composition for a few days, lighting is off, exposure is off, blur etc... seemed like there was always something wrong with the image, today I finally got it right!

Very impressive...Some day I will actually learn how to properly use a camera to take great pictures like that.

some really amazing shots, I am slowly learning how to use my camera right now (Canon Powershot IS110 SX) which is only an advanced point and shoot, BUT I know how to use it pretty well so many of my pictures come out amazing. out of all the ones I tried it had the best macro for not being a DSLR lol I have an old SLR (you know the non-digital kind haha) someday I will have a nice DSLR... maybe when the prices drop... a lot! haha get some more pictures!!

Nice pics I wish I could get mine that clear. I think you might like these shot Maxalmon.
If you have anymore shots I would love to see them.
