Well after doing some idea thoughts of how I would like to make a cabinet to hide all my tank equipment, that of course wouldn't fit under my 54g tank you can see in tanks section. Wanted to either buy or build a cabinet to hide everything. Thought about what argi had mentioned to buy bottom stand. But I like the up high refugium design, because my skimmer never looses its tune, because with the fuge up higher than the under the tank sump/reservoir. The water level in fuge always stays the same. So I came up this design. Now if I can just find someone to build it .I would do it. But don't have all the tools are area or time to do it. This baby will need tender loving care while building it.

Ok I'm going with this, don't understand why can't just copy/paste from my pix in my puter to this page so you can zoom in or out. I've seen a link before to click on to view someone else pix, but certainly would like to know how they got it there?

Looking again at the depth might have to go 18" depth or have good solid outboard base plate around the bottom of stand.

never knew could be such a task, couldn't sleep after wife came to bed anyways, she tosses and turns and always wakes me up. And I just wanted you guys to see decent pix,.and the second pix #12 is with sliding doors closed and first #10 is with the sliding doors open to see and access fuge and RO/DI vat with all other equipment to add.
Sorry people, I believe what I was doing wrong is I just sketched out on paper than scanned it. But was a setting to scan as a photo or text. Believe would of had better luck as scan as a text. Now if I could just find a builder to build would be awesome, any takers . Oh and of course just structure to build, I'll do all the painting and drilling for piping and wire, I think
Thanks people for being so patient, think my wife will be happy too, once its built and everything is in the cabinet
See ya

| I would suggest to take a look in the phonebook for either woodworkers or cabinet makers. You can probably even check the classified area of local newspapers to find one. Give them the design and let them know what it will be holding and I am sure they can quote you a price. I am sure if will vary depending on the type of wood (pine vs. oak, etc..), but a good quality stand will run quite a bit of money. But it can be well worth it when done right. HTH,

Thanks Keith, always so helpful. And too, did find a local reefer, I mean like a couple blocks away and have bought some stonies from him, and didn't even know he does cabinet work. He was real impressed with my free hand sketch of the cabinet. So he went to his computer with CAD program installed and came up with this design. I was thinking in the range of a thousand dollars without painting. And was shocked when he quoted, in the neighborhood of around five to six hundred dollars , finished and painted . Of course the theme will still stay black. Was just kidding with my daughter, because her big closet is right behind the wall of where fuge and RO/DI vat is. And could just get rid of all her stuff and put in there. HA she says. Boy thank God I'm single, because I probably would do that
