I am currently working on an ecology degree at the university of Louisville. My dream would be to move to a coastal school and turn it into a marine degree, biology or ecology. I'm interested in coral and fish reproduction and preserving our reefs. Do you have any advice or know of any programs that are doing great things? thank you very much.

matt-
since scientists tend to focus, what specifically are you looking at- or should i say--what is it your interested in studying. For example... U hawaii has great invert programs, FIT has great marine aquaculture studies, Scripps Oceanographic does tremendous work on fish, ecology, conservation etc. The bottom line is finding out what your specialty will be, and finding the "expert" in that field to study w/
So.....any ideas?

Ecology and conservation both interest me, probably more towards conservation though. I also like the idea of aquaculture were depleting our oceans so fast. The ideal situation would be both conservation and aquaculture. I guess I'm not really sure yet. I'm a freshman so I have a ways to go before I make a decision. Thank you for your input and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
