Im planning a 100 gal tank, and I´m looking for a return pump of about 1100 gal/hr, the thank would be at 5 feet or so and the sump obviously at the bottom, so which will be the cheapest most reliable option, Im also looking for a electricity eficient one

Are you looking for a submersible pump or an external pump?

For submersible pumps Mag Drive pumps tend to be one of the most popular.  I have used them for many years and have been very happy with them.  You could also look at the Quiet One pumps.

For external pumps the Iwaki or Pan World pumps are a good choice for a fairly inexpensive and energy efficient pump.  Sequence also has a good line of pumps that might work for you.

Different submersible pumps will add different amounts of heat to the water, even external pumps can add heat to the water.  I personally have never had any issues with my Mag Drives adding heat to the water, but some have had that happen.  The Quiet One pumps usually run fairly cool, but I have no hand on experience with this.

The inlet to the SCWD is 3/4" hose barb, so ideally you would like the return pump to be of the same outlet size.  I ran a Mag 12 through a SCWD on my 135 years ago.

The pump must be rated under 1400 gph also, so you will need to take that in to account when looking at pumps.
