5 or 6 years ago I bought some of the preformed rigid ponds from HD and set them up, one has a spillway that falls into the other. About 300 gallons total. I love my pond, in fact I often say that if could have only one fishtank it would be a pond. Anyway over the years the liners have settled and drooped/ sagged to the point where I have to keep the water level so low it just isn't satisfying anymore. I drained it last Fall and plan to rebuild soon as the weather is starting to get nice again. I want it deeper this time and plan to open up the two existing holes into one larger pond. Forgive me for this but I simply hate the look of rubberized pond liners. It's not even an option for me. I am considering concrete but of course this would be a lot of work and expense. Options? Are there larger/ deeper versions of preformed ponds out there? What about fiberglass. I have experience working with it and while it may cost a bit more in the end it would be a lot easier on my back than working with concrete. I have also thought about just getting a large pvc stock tank, like 8' dia X 30" deep, just not sure if I really want a perfectly round pond. I'm pretty much open to any ideas at this point. TIA for your thoughts.
