| hi, I am confused of which one of the aqua c hob skimmers i want. my tank is only 29 g. But i am leaning towards the pro series so i could use that skimmer down the road in a bigger tank. I also think the larger pro series could handle a larger bio load if i got carried away in my 29. true or not? also which pumps are the quitest and most efficient on these skimmers? thank you for your feed it has been very helpful steve

| You may find that if the bioload is not high enough in your 29 gallon tank the Pro model will not pull any skimmate (or very little). The standard Remora would be a better choice. The Maxi Jet with the Remora is very quiet. As for the pumps with the Pro, IME the Mag drive pumps are much quieter than the Rio pumps. HTH,
