| Hi Pin, If your name is referring to the Yankees, I am afraid I can not help you (I am a Braves fan going through a tough year). Unfortunately I do not have any first hand experience with these skimmers, but that doesn't sound right. You may want to send an email to customercare@marinedepot.com and see if any of the service reps have had experience with the skimmers or you may want to contact Coralife directly (www.esuweb.com). Sorry I was unable to be of more help.

The Coralife Super Skimmer is great, but very touchy in its setup. Review the instructions and follow them carefully. Number one is to ensure the pump is no more than 3 inches below the water line (or bubbles will not be produced or reduced significantly). Number two is to ensure the top of the diffuser is slightly above the water line. Number three, ensure there is a 1 inch space between the end of the outlet hose and the bottom of the diffuser. This allows the water to flow properly into the sponge filter and diffuse bubbles. You may still see some microbubbles, though. I replaced the diffuser with a regular cylindrical sponge (like from an overflow box). Another option is fill the diffuser with bio-balls. The white sponge in the bottom of the diffuser will clog frequently and require cleaning.
Once the [painful] setup is completed, it'll work fine. Good luck.
