I've got to do something in between book and magazine production, message board queries... fish nerd meetings, etc., right?

It's being shipped this week to distributors.

(end shameless plug HERE)

cheers, my friend Thanks for asking... yes, book news indeed.

The target was/is to have it back from the printer in time for MACNA (September). This is the illustrated version of the Book of Coral Propagation (formatted to compliment Reef Invertebrates and with ~ 1000 pics now ). I think we will be close to making this goal or will be on time.

With the same print date target (or sooner), I intend to release my new reef print magazine (C... the Journal of Aquatic Science, Travel and Adventure).

After that I will finish up final edits on my new Seahorse book...

and then take a vacation Europe sounds nice

Ah, so I am going to have to get a new copy of BOCP, eh? I like pictures.

Nice new poster, BTW.

Hi Anthony:

Nice poster!!  This is my first of what I hope is many posts here.  I sent you a question on WWM and AdamJ told me about your new gig.  I have been looking around and the forum is very nice.  Good content and discussion.  I'm sure you don't remember (thousands of questions so far I would guess) but you have helped me numerous times with new challenges and decisions.  Your first answer to me was in 2002 concerning the Heliacus sp. Box Snail that I found eating my wife's zoos.  To this day, my wife checks her new zoos while muttering "Heliacus sp. (spuh) Box Snail is my enemy!! Cute.  Anyway, thanks many times for the help.

I was happy to see the update BCOP was coming out...unlike one of the joking members here, I don't mind buying another because mine is falling page by page into my tanks from overuse!!  (I have no idea what to expect from Nemenzophyllia anymore!:w00t  Can we preorder, or is that premature?  Signed??  Finally, are you going to do anymore on the NMA?  In responding to a query of mine, BF mention that the "fat lady has not sung on that one" or some such.  As I told you years ago, I thought the first volume was fantastic in filling a neglected niche.

Anyway, hope all is well.  Take care, Greg

thanks kindly Greg

I'm looking forward to getting the revised BOCP1 printed... its soon but briefly stalled while I finish (this week!) final layout/edits of a new reef print magazine. I'll post info shortly on subscriptions and preorders.

As for NMA series.. its just shelved for a bit while I get these other books/mag done. The NMA work is fun (I finished the writing but not layout for the fishes column 1), but its just too expensive to produce. We make so very little money on book writing that I have to wait to print it until I have a few more dollars laying around to be safe.

Welcome to MD forums too BTW! Very good to have you around

Thanks kindly in turn.  I understand about the money issue with the books.  Limited audience and all that (not to mention some never read a book ).  Let me know about the preorders...I'll take the first copy!!  Take care, Greg
