Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. Images used in avatars/icons should be reef/aquatics related. 4. Images, icons and links to images located on porn sites or sites condoning illegal activities are not acceptable. Why? The image and its Web address is saved in your local cache and you dont know where the image is from. So if a network administrator finds such an image, its Web address and the IP of the PC its being located on, its as bad as if the user has visited the Web site of the site directly. 5. Personal Icons can only consist of the following formats: Gif, Bmp, Jpeg, Png. Appropriate personal photos are allowed, however there is a size limit to how large that picture can be. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 16 KB.. If your personal photo is in violation of this rule, ALL posts which contain the offending photo will be subject to deletion or editing. If you have been notified that your personal photo is improper, you must replace it in a timely manner. Continued or prolonged failure to conform to personal photo guidelines will result in banishment.
Section 3 - ETC 1. Links to porn sites or Web sites dealing with illegal activities (fraud, drug use, etc.) will not be tolerated. Similarly, threads/replies encouraging and aiding in illegal/unethical action such as bootlegging of CDs, DVDs, games, drug use, etc. are prohibited and will be locked or deleted without discussion. Depending upon the severity or frequency of the offense, the posting such topics can result in banishment. 2. Free posts, or posting solely for the purpose of boosting your post count is not allowed. Many people judge members credibility based on post count, so we ask that you obtain your post count legitimately. Furthermore, free posts waste server space and ISP bandwidth unnecessarily. Topics in violation of this rule will be locked or deleted without discussion. Repeated or consistent violation of this rule will result in banishment. Administrators reserve the right to exercise discretion in removing any member whose conduct is deemed disrespectful or destructive to the community. Dont risk your membership over something foolish. If you are respectful to your fellow members at all times and handle conflict appropriately, your membership will never be in jeopardy. |
