Sad to see you go from RC but I'll definitely be stopping in here every now and then.

Anthony,

Hello, my friend. Hope the move went well. Happy to see you here.

We are in our new home in FL and loving it.  Just now setting up a 135 and looking forward to fragging some corals again.
Would be nice to see your face around here.  We're 1 1/2 hours Southeast of Orlando.  You'd be welcomed anytime.

Yay for Anthony! I'll be browsing even more message boards now.. OoOoh.. 4 years at that "other" message board with only 200 posts. Well... I'm the quiet type. This is a special occasion! Welcome to the new home!

wow... so many new and old friends alike (er... I was not referring to you specifically Richard when I said old I would have said wise or charming if I was

cheers to all!

And yes, I am somewhat sorry to choose to leave RC as a mod, but happily still a general member again there! I'm also still at my other/old haunts too... RF, WWM, TM, etc

I'm also very appreciative of MD to have invited us and friends to share some room with their established crew for a simple and constructive content-building endeavor.

You'll find, I think, that each of us (forum keepers) will run our forums a bit differently, as per our flavors and styles. I do think we have quite a range of experience and styles at that to be able to satisfy a wide range of folks.

I think my style is fairly well known, but to reiterate: I give, take, expect and hope to see considerate and civil if not friendly content building posts. Brawlers and flamers will be promptly neutered. If anyone needs more "aggressive" discussions to be stimulated... "bub-bye." This is not the forum for it

I'm also a fan of good humor (the sense of affability and the ice cream vendor alike), but really do not want to see any one-post wonders, grunts and brainless comments however funny they may be. I will surely make some such posts, and tolerate them as well... but any pervasive habit to that effect need to be taken to the lounge or a chatroom.

There have been questions about linking to other sites too. My rule here is pretty simple. In addition to the above-mentioned criterion.. the link needs to be specifically information based and relative to the thread or question posed. Shameless plugs or generic posts/links will just be deleted for wasting server space if nothing else. Shilling anyone's product is even worse... it's a huge peeve of mine and is a very low-class style of salesmanship. It will be nuked and the offender gets the pleasure of making my watch-list

Please help me to make my forum a relaxing, enjoyable and friendly content-building source of information. TYIA

.

Anthony Calfo

Greetings. So many familiar names here .

The Sand People are easily startled, but they will soon be back, and in greater numbers.
