Hello--
I am interested in investing in a phytoplankton reactor. Since the device is quite expensive I would like some advice on what to look for? What are some devices you guys recommend? What are it's pros/cons?
Thanks so much!!!

Unfortunately I have never used a Phytoplankton Reactor, so I can't be of much help. I know a lot of people end up just building their own to help save money. You may want to try doing a google search for DIY phytoplankton reactors to see what comes up. You probably can save quite a bit of money that way.
Sorry I couldn't help more.

Thanks so much argi!
I've looked up some DYI processes and it seems pretty interesting.
Have you tried it? If not how do you feed your fish/coral? Any recommendations?

I have thought about it a couple of times, but due to the maintenance involved (daily in some cases) I know I wouldn't keep up with it.
I tend to use light as the main source of food for the corals and try to give a good mixture of frozen foods and pellet foods for the fish that hopefully the corals can grab some if the particle size is small enough.
