I have a 65 gallon tank that has been up and running for about 3 months. I have 2 clowns and the diamond gobie. I added a foxface about a month ago.(I have had the foxface for 6 months just moved from another tank) The gobie has always come out to eat and been very active. For the last 2-3 days he has not come out to eat. I finally found him behind some rock, I thought it was dead but then when I started to move the rock it swam away. It still will not come out of hiding, I can see it and seems to be rolling around. I am afraid that it has gotten hurt, or something. Should I leave it alone or take out the rock, catch it and put in QT tank? Thanks for any advise. By the way ammonia is 0 ph between 8-8.2 nitrite 0 nitrate is 5 I did a PWC last night of 8 gallons(do it weekly).

It might just be nervous from the new addition. I would give it a chance to settle down on its own. If you can see physical damage than you may want to remove it, but otherwise I wouldn't stress it out.

i have a foxface and a naso tang that have been together since fryhood or about 8 years in my tank. they are model citizens during the day but at night the foxface will harass the naso tang.
