I have had my saltwater tank for about 5 years now. Something is growing on my live rock and I am unsure what it is. There are a lot of them , although they are pretty small. They are hard and can be knocked off the rock.

It looks like they may be vermetid snails. Here is an article that Dr. Ron Shimek wrote about them that should help..
