Hi,
I currently own a Current-Usa Outer Orbit 150W MH and T5HO power compact fixture.
I'm on the process on replacing the T5 and MH bulbs.One time I heard a person talking about ballast and bulbs that you cannot put any bulb into a non-specific ballast.Is this true?For example,Do i have to buy the same bulbs Current-Usa sells or can I buy anything else without comprimising bulb life,etc?

For DE bulbs you don't have to worry about this. For SE bulbs (mogul base) you do need to make sure the bulb and ballast are compatable. So you are good to go with any DE bulb for your fixture.
