| 24g or 28g quad CF? I have a 1-1/2 year old 50g FOWLR that I would like to change out for one of these and eventually get some corals going. Also, which substrate would be better, a fine sand type or the more course type? I would like to just swap everything from the 50g right to the Nano if possible. The 50g now has 40+ lbs. of live rock and Aragonite substrate which is more of a crushed coral type than a fine sand type. Any advice would be appreciated, also any personal experiences shared about either one of these units. Thanks, Dave

| Hey Dave, Honestly between the two I don't think you will see a huge difference, but if it were me I would go with the slightly bigger one. Go with a fine sand. How many fish will be going into the new tank? As long as there aren't too many fish, you should be able to just transfer stuff over (and IMO start with new sand). HTH,
