I am a Nikon guy so it caught my attention.

RE: Nikon D300 vs. Canon EOS 40D?

if you will be using the camera for mostly aquatic shots (wild reef or aquarium alike)... I am nearly certain you will be more pleased with the trueness of color from Canon for this purpose. And you will hear that advice repeated by many folks. Moreover... But, I think both of these models are pretty close, apart from the megapixel thing. I think that both are probably winners as both take awfully amazing photos.

The real test is, what accessories do you think you need? Do the additional things you want to buy set one apart from the other?

Nikon D300 vs. Canon EOS 40D?

Hi All: After reading various reviews on both of these cameras, I am rethinking making a purchase.
