Thanks. There are a lot of variables as to the color of sps. Genetics play a big part as some corals although still nice just don't show the same color as others even though they are the same species. Many of my corals were purchased from "known good colonies" through other reefers. Sometimes you can lucky but not always. Other considerations are: What is your PH at? How is your flow? How long have you had the corals? How close are they to the LPS? Do you run carbon? How close is the light? Trace elements? R/O water? water changes? Fish population? etc, etc.

great tank!. i have a 210 gal reef and can't seem to get the coloration you have in sps. my lps are all great. i don,t understand as i have 3 250 w halides, blue and white actinic, ca reactor, dosing, 65 gal sump w/refugium, chiller.,

alk 10, ca 440, salinity 1.024 nitrates 0, phos 0, all other undesirables are at 0

corals are feed 3-4 times /wk using variety of oyster eggs, cyclopeze, dt's live photo

Hey Greg,

You can't leave us hanging like that...we need information about your tank. What are you using for lighting, filtration (skimmer, etc..), calcium reactor, any supplements/additives, etc...

We need more information so we can duplicate this in our tanks, LOL.
