Tank looks beautiful. The aquascaping is very well done and seems to provide a great deal of swimming room. The Angel looks great, glad he has a good relationship with the coral. Thanx for the pics. Keep up the good work.

Just taut id post an update on the Majestic hes doing fine hasent touched any corals he settled in well hes starting to show his authority over the tangs

Iam just running a skimmer and live rock for filtration and i use an external filter for carbon

i have massive turnover in the tank i think this helps a lot

Beautiful Majestic Angel, any problems with him nipping at corals? From what I have read they will go after LPS corals and sometimes clams, but usually leave SPS corals alone.

Sorry for not replying...I missed this somehow. You can try feeding larger foods as well like mysis shrimp, krill, clam, scallops, etc...

I was lucky to get this nice angel

I got it from a friends tank who had him for two years

He was only in the tank for three hours i fed the fish some flake food and he immediately started to eat

Beautiful...remember the tube anemones aren't photosynthetic so you need to feed them.

My anemone decided to start moving around the tank after nearly 9 months in the same spot and while he was moving around he stung some of my plate montipora

He is staying at the side of the tank on the glass and ive decided o remove him

whats the best way to remove him?

there is a pair of tomato clowns with the anemone i dont think they will be happy with the removal of there host anemone but i dont want him damaging more of my corals

there is no sump on this aquarium it has been a great sucess

I feed three times a day the first feed is flake then a fiew hours later i give frozen food then in he evening i give some cyclopeeze and some frozen rotifers i cant believe how the N03 is so low

The tank is progessing very nicely from a softy tank to an SPS tank. I love the Monti cap (plate) corals...I currently have a purple and green one in my tank.
