Sorry if I missed this, but do you have any plans for the ricordia tank (fish, aquascaping, etc...)?

I love the color's in there.

No plans for any fish. (hard to believe that is coming from me). I plan to mount some of the rics to smaller rocks and will probably add a few zoanthids to the tank. The colors in the tank are amazing and I won't have to worry about feeding each day..... Just something a little different.

The divers in Florida sent me some really nice large blood red bubble tip mushrooms to add to my collection of ricordeas.

I traded a few ricordeas today for a couple of nice pieces of SPS to see how they do in the tank. I got a Montipora Nodosa, and a Montipora Cap. Good sized pieces for the trade. Now I will have to wait and see how they do in the tank.

After two days of struggling, and several trips to the hardware store. I finally got a rack built for the lights and hung above the tank. To my surprise, every thing seems to work...

I decided to try and build my own lighting for the tank. A decision I regretted several time while trying to build and put it all together. I bought an Ice Cap T5 retro fit kit and set out to build my own little canopy.

Having very little wood working and carpentry experience, it was a real challenge for me to figure all of this out.

For the time being, I am going to put most of these Ricordeas in a cube tank that I am setting up. Should make for an interesting display.

I saw, and you mentioned having one angelfish, I believe it is a Lamarcki angel, female? Am I correct in that thinking?

A little disappointed in the size of the recordeas that I purchased last week. I found a couple of divers that offered to send me some in a variety of colors. WOW, I couldn't believe it when I opened the boxes...

A few new corals arrived today, 4 Goniopors (Flower Pots, 2 - red & 2 metallic green). Along with 2 Blue Zoanthias...

Unique shape with this metallic green flower pot, can hardly wait to see what it look like when it opens.

Good sized Blue Zoanthias, hope it looks nice when it opens....

I've heard the same. I got one shortly after I set up the tank and it passed after a month. This one has been in the tank for nearly four months and seems fat and happy.

I wasn't planning on taking picture of anything in the tank, but the camera was close by when the Black tang made a rare appearance and was out and about. Of course he kept behind all of the water streaks on the tank, so forgive the quality of the photos......

A few new things, (NOT FISH), picked these up today at the LFS.

Some Flower Pot corals...

Some Zoanthus...

I think that there might be a little SPS attached in the middle of this one???

Beautiful fish. I don't know much about breeding and was wondering will this pair breed in captivity?

I don't know much about them either, but my guess is that it won't happen. I haven't had success with my pairs of clowns or the Banggai Cardinalfish.
