Yeah, the anemone was not sucked onto the PH in any way just wated to rest there for a while I guess . I am looking for alternative air pumps for flow but in a 20L it is sotra hard to control salt creap and the PH does not poduce that much suction with the sponge in place. Since the MJ PH's are sealed the only suction is comming from the sponge which should be okay. I will probably upgrade the air pump and get that situated after he calms down and has recovered from the stress of shipping. I am in no hurry so I have all the time in the world to get him back to a health state before I remove the PH and go back to airlift. At that time I will also move to a 3/4 full 50g tank where I can more easily control the salt creap. Anyway the anemone finally attached again and seems happy with full bubbles but we will see how long that last .

turning off the powerhead was the coorect call... adding/replacing the sponge to guard it too of course.

Some anemones require "surgery" to extricate, while others stay attached (heal and sit) or drop off on their own.

Most folks should avoid using powerheads in anemone tanks - instead... the turnover via overflows (guarded weirs with plastic gutter guard for example) and a high flow sump loop satisfies flow requirements. If no sump, then simple airlifts are quite good.

Well I decided to just leave everything alone I do not want to stress the anemone any more than I have to. I am just going to let the anemone go where it wants to. The sponge on the powerhead will protect it well enough not to damage the anemone so I will just let it float. I know it will protect the PH just because it touched the sponge and did not get sucked on. The anemone did let go of the powerhead though and floated through the tank after I tried to feed it. The mysid did stick the the anemone but I do not think it pulled many of them into its mouth. I will continue to feed every day even it if is not attached and see how things go. Maybe once it knows that it will be fed on a daily basis it will attach and settle in. Overall though it still seems healthy, it has bubble tips and is fully expanded it just keeps blowing around and attaching over and over again. I guess it is just bothering me more that it is the anemone .

Well my floating anemone finally found a happy place attached to the powerhead. It was not sucked in just attached to the bottom. Well it was all shriveled today so I turned the pump off and it expanded. Should I leave it there with the pump off or turn it back on since that is where it decided to attach after floating for 2 days. If I leave the pump off should I turn the air lifts back on for water movement.
