I am leary of products that claim to cure multiple pathogens - parasites, bacteria, fungus and still are safe for corals, inverts, etc.

I would highly recommend quarantining anything wet (fish, corals, rock, inverts, algaes, etc) before placing in your display tank. A great reference article by Steve Pro:
http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-10/sp/feature/index.php

In order to rid your display tank of the ich parasite, you must take all of the fish out of the system and leave fallow (fishless) for at least 4 weeks. Rock, corals, inverts may stay in the tank. The ich parasite requires a fish to complete its life cycle.
