Hi I currently have a 48 inch coralife powercompact light set up as 10k/actinic.  I really love the color of 20k (bluish) light but I guess power compact does not come in this color.  What would be the best set up to match the 20k color? I was thinking of maybe getting mixture of 7100k and 10000k? Or maybe I'll just buy sunlight supply T-5's? Thank you

Hi bangooface,

Welcome to the Marine Depot Forums.

Go to the T5's, you will love them!!!  CurrentUSA has some very good set ups along with Sunlight Supply.

But back to the PC's (if you go that route) here is a little write up on PC bulbs that might help out some.  I don't think you can really get a 20K look out of PC bulbs that will be good for your corals needs.

HTH,
