Ok so i have the general shape and layout of my pond almost done at one end it is fairly narrow then widens out into a larger pool at the deep end think tube sock. MY question is can I join 2 pieces of UPDM together reliably under water. I have fairly extensive experience working with it for roofing material and joining it to make it leak proof on commercial roofs but never have tried it in a sumberged application. The reason i want to do this is cost the narrow section only needs 10' wide material while the end needs nearly 20-25" wide material and given the length of the pond it woudl be substantialy more expensive to have to use 25" for the entire length of the pond.

Any help or experiences woulde greatly appreciated.

Scott

I agree with the last post that you should use a single liner. With the cost of liner tape, equipment and time are you really saving much? Email me and I may be able to almost macth what you are paying for a 10 foot liner with a 20 foot wide liner.
